It was great to attend the Business Wales Expo in Llandudno yesterday! A fantastic turnout with lots of friendly, helpful exhibitors showcasing their services.

Some key takeaways for me were how the Sell2Wales platform has been refined to better support SME’s like Graft Rail ltd in bidding for and winning public sector contracts. It was also encouraging to hear about the Welsh Government’s plans to promote supply chain opportunities for SME’s across Wales and how suppliers can prepare for upcoming packages in the Transport for Wales pipeline.

On top of that I had some interesting discussions about the “Welsh Pound” and how supporting local business and keeping more money in Wales can make a huge difference to our economy.

All in all, a trip worthwhile.
